Aqueous Bathrooms
Aqueous Bathrooms are a local supplier of bespoke bathroom installations. They were concerned about the security of their existing wireless network. They also had networking issues which meant they could not rely on their internet connection. Our wireless scanning tools allowed us to optimise and secure their wireless network and provide a stable internet connection.
A later software purchase created the need to share a lot of data between two very distant pcs and a it was decided that in this case a wieless network was not the most suitable. Jinca designed and installed a network based on a structured cable infrastructure. This provided the reliability and bandwidth to cope with this new application.
We are currently working with Aqueous on their website and an e-commerce project. |

The Red Lion - Whiteleaf
We approached The Red Lion in Whiteleaf as we noticed they didn’t have a website. They were keen to get one but didn’t know how to get started. We provided photography and built their website with lots of input from the owner Sue.
The Red Lion have recently built a new restaurant and Sue was keen to promote this. The site allowed customers to view the new facilities online, check details of the pub’s accommodation, and book Christmas parties. The website has also saved time on the phone as details can be emailed now.
We host the Red Lion website and provide email and PC support too.
You can visit the Red Lion's new website here |

Local Car and Van Rental
Local Car and Van Rental Called us in July 2006 in response to one of our advertisements, They were keen to use a local company who would be able to support them effectively in the future..
The Scenario
LCVR are a new startup business and needed to start business by the end of October 2006 and were looking to rent an office in Princes Risborough.
Initially employing 7 people, they wanted a company who could fulfill all of their requirements. As a new startup there were budgetary constraints and also an issue that meant that a lease could not be signed until 4 weeks prior to being ready for business. LCVR required a fixed price installation in a short amount of time from a company they could rely on.
The Challenge
- The office space was completely empty and had no structured cabling.
- LCVR wanted a cabled network, with a server for email and file and print services.
- They needed a robust phone system for all their staff.
- The solution needed an element of future proofing for possible expansion.
- System integration was also required to access a partner database application by secure means.
- They needed all of this very quickly but could not commit to the project until lease was signed.
- All of this needed to be delivered in a very short time span and to a competitive fixed cost..
The Solution
- Cat5e Cabling was laid to 5 different areas under non standard raised flooring providing 26 data outlets in total. This network carries both data and telephone services.
- Our solution involved the installation of a load balanced dual ADSL service that would share both voice, data and reduce call costs over standard BT rate whilst offering fail over in the event of a single line fault .
- Gigabit Ethernet was deployed using a Netgear Prosafe switch to provide sufficient bandwidth for future applications.
- 5 HP desktop computers and an HP laptop were configured, with an HP ProLiant rack mountable server running Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 controlling the network and providing data and messaging services..
- A Cisco 1841 Router and a Cisco Pix 501 firewall were used for connectivity and security.
- Quality Of Service is employed on the internet link to ensure real time services such as voice get the highest priority whilst ensuring maximum data throughput for all applications..
- We selected Sophos as the anti-virus solution as this is kept up to date on an hourly basis to ensure strong protection.
- The phone system is a VOIP based service from one of our trusted partners running on Linksys Business Phones.
- Online banking to Barclays Bank was provided using encrypted smart card authentication
- Backups are taken care of by an online backup system which backs up automatically off site every night..
- The link to LCVR partner’s database server has been made using a secure virtual private network (VPN) with a firewall policy enforcing access to required systems only. This required collaboration with outside parties.
